Uri: After Rishi Kapoor, Anupam Kher lauds Vicky Kaushal, welcomes him in 'actors' world'
Vicky Kaushal’s Uri has been making a lot of buzz with its box-office success. The film based on India’s Surgical Strike in Pakistan has crusied past the Rs 100 crore mark after a ten-day run in the cinemas. Uri has garnered superlative reviews not only by fans and critics but Bollywood celebrities also. Veteran actor Anupam Kher recently watched the film and took to his social media account to share his review. Interestingly, Anupam Kher's The Accidental Prime Minister clashed with Vicky Kaushal's Uri at the box office.
Veteran actor Anupam Kher has welcomed actor Vicky Kaushal in "actors' world" after watching his performance in the latest release "Uri: The Surgical Strike". "Welcome to the 'actors' world. You are fantastic in 'Uri: The Surgical Strike'. Real, gutsy and a performer," Anupam tweeted on Monday.

Recently, Rishi Kapoor also praised the war drama and said, "Saw URI. Terrific warfare film. Perhaps the best ever made in India. It bought the home the point India has nothing against the citizens of Pakistan but those terrorists being trained in camps against us. Bravo. Let this be an eye opener.”

The military drama is based on the 2016 surgical strike carried out by the Indian Armed forces across the border.
The movie, released earlier this month, also stars Yami Gautam and Mohit Raina.
The film sees Vicky playing the role of an Indian commando who is involved in the 2016 surgical strikes. It also features Kirti Kulhari and Paresh Rawal in lead roles.
