Arpan Basak's short film 'Inner Me' will give you a reality check!
‘Inner Me’ revolves around a professional model's Addy (played by Adrija Roy) who has always been arrogant with the crew members of her photoshoot set, such is her hypocrisy that she doesn’t allow even the hairstylist to touch her hair, instead Addy loves to do her hair styling on her own. However, one incident inside a photoshoot studio completely changes her perception towards life.
‘Inner Me’, produced by Saritanvi and Ajay Gupta, mainly focuses on the Indian notion of beauty compared to the Western world. What’s more interesting is this 5-minute short film will see Adrija Roy in ‘bald look’ onscreen for the first time. Arpan’s film was screened at Gyan Manch last Thursday.
